    Adding a Widget

    What is a widget?

    A Widget is an element of the dashboard that allows users to view the important information at a glance. The dashboard is empty if there are no pre-existing widgets.

    Let's learn how to add widgets to the Dashboard page on the platform.

    1. Log in to the participant account.
    2. Click on the Dashboard page in the Navigation Panel to view the Dashboard.
    3. Add a widget by clicking on the + Add Widget button from the center of the Dashboard if there are no widgets on the page.

    1. If there are some existing widgets on the Dashboard page, add more widgets by clicking on the + Widget button from the top right corner.

    There are six pre-built widget types to make the working of any Business Workflow smoother & efficient.

    Choose the type of widget

    1. Click on the plus button from the Widgets sidebar to add the respective widgets on the Dashboard.

    The platform allows to add & customize up to 20 widgets on the Dashboard.

    1. Select the required fields from the drop-down in the widgets to display key indicators on the dashboard.

    Deleting a Widget

    Let's learn how to delete a widget from the Dashboard page.

    1. Log in to the DL Freight participant account.
    2. Click on the Dashboard page in the Navigation Panel to view the Dashboard.

    On hovering over the top right corner of a widget box, Expand/Collapse & Delete icons appear. Use these icons to perform the respective actions on that particular widget. The Refresh Frequency drop-down menu is a constant control menu at the top right corner of every widget box. Clicking on the arrow in this field opens a drop-down list that contains various duration options. Select any option as required to set a refresh frequency for that widget.

    1. Hover over the top right corner of the widget box to delete it. The Delete icon appears.

    2. Now, click on the Delete icon.

    1. Clicking on the Delete icon displays a confirmation box with Yes & No buttons.
    2. Click on the Yes button to delete the selected widget.

    Renaming a Widget

    Renaming a widget is easy! Find out how to do it using the following steps.

    1. Log in to the participant account.
    2. Click on the Dashboard page in the Navigation Panel to view the Dashboard.
    3. Double-click on the name of the widget to rename it. A typable Name field appears with a blinking cursor.
    4. Now, type in the name for that particular widget and click twice outside the Name field. The widget gets successfully renamed.
