New IB Accessorial Functionalities v1.0.0

The DL Freight™ platform has been enhanced to allow for the inclusion of the automated accessorial claims process by Walmart Canada’s Carriers. Carriers are now able to submit unknown accessorial claims for inbound loads via the DL Freight™ platform.

Additionally, Walmart Canada’s Inbound Team can view submitted claims and approve or decline claims escalated for manual review directly in the DL Freight™ platform.

Features Delivered in this Update

Automated Accessorial Claim functionality for inbound loads

Automated the ‘Accessorial claim’ process for Inbound Wait Time, Re-delivery, Vehicle Ordered-Not Used (VOR), and Miscellaneous charges.
The Platform automatically adds approved Inbound Accessorial claims directly to the shipment invoice.

New Extra ORM (XORM) Accessorial Claim functionality for inbound loads

The platform allows carriers to make XORM claims on extra ORM (outside of the ORM known charge) which is automatically calculated by the system for inbound shipments.
