Types of Widgets

Widgets

A widget is an element on the dashboard page that allows the participant to view important information at a glance.
After logging in to the platform, Click on + Widgets at top right corner of the screen. Listed below are six pre-built widget types on the platform:

  1. ASSIGNED TO ME - This widget lists the number of shipment loads assigned to the user.
  2. CHART FILTER - This widget creates a chart based on the selected load attributes.
  3. DISPUTE STATUS - This widget lists the number of disputes within the workflow.
  4. INSTANCE CREATED - This widget lists the number of instances within the workflow.
  5. RECENT ACTIVITIES - This widget lists the most recent activities from the workflow.
  6. WORKFLOW STATUS - This widget lists the status of workflow instances in the selected workflow.

Configuring Widgets

The widgets on the dashboard display key information and stats based on the inputs provided. For each added widget, listed below information can be configured:

  • Workflow – This feature allows to link Widget to the desired Business Workflow.
  • Attribute(s) – This feature allows to generate the Periodic Reports with selected Attributes.
  • Refresh Frequency – This feature allows to set the Refresh Frequency of a widget. The system default frequency is 15 minutes; however, Refresh rate can be modified to 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.

Information Fields
Prebuilt Widgets, Workflow Status, Instance Created & Dispute Status don't have the option to select Attribute(s).

Follow the steps listed below to configure widgets on the platform:

Chart Filter Widget

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. Click on the + Widget icon at the top right corner of the screen.

Alternatively, click on the + Add Widget icon from the center of the Dashboard; if there are no widgets available on the page.

  1. On Add Widget page, click on the + icon next to the CHART FILTER widget.

This adds a new Chart Filter widget to the Dashboard.

  1. Select the desired Business Workflow from the drop-down list to assign a business workflow to this widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.
  2. Select desired Attributes from the Attribute drop-down list.
  3. Next, set the Refresh frequency as required from the drop-down list at the top right corner of the widget box.
  4. Click on Save.

Workflow Status widget

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. Click on the + Widget icon at the top right corner of the screen.

  1. On Add Widget page, click on the + icon next to the Workflow Status widget.

This adds a new Workflow Status widget to the Dashboard.

  1. Select the desired Business Workflow from the drop-down list to assign a business workflow to this widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.

  2. Next, set the Refresh frequency as required from the drop-down list at the top right corner of the widget box.

  3. Click on Save.

Dispute Status widget

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. Click on the + Widget icon at the top right corner of the screen.

Alternatively, click on the + Add Widget icon from the center of the Dashboard; if there are no widgets available on the page.

  1. On Add Widget page, click on the + icon next to the Dispute Status widget.

This adds a new Dispute Status widget to the Dashboard.

  1. Select the desired Business Workflow from the drop-down list to assign a business workflow to this widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.

  2. Next, set the Refresh frequency as required from the drop-down list at the top right corner of the widget box.

  3. Click on Save.

Instance Created widget

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. Click on the + Widget icon at the top right corner of the screen.

Alternatively, click on the + Add Widget icon from the center of the Dashboard; if there are no widgets available on the page.

  1. On Add Widget page, click on the + icon next to the Instance Created widget.

This adds a new Instance Created widget to the Dashboard.

  1. Select the desired Business Workflow from the drop-down list to assign a business workflow to this widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.

  2. Next, set the Refresh frequency as required from the drop-down list at the top right corner of the widget box.

  3. Click on Save.

Similarly, other widgets can be added & configured.

Edit Existing Widgets

To Edit the existing widget from the Dashboard page, follow the steps as listed below:

Renaming a widget

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. Double click on the name of the desired widget to type the desired name.

A cursor appear on name field, once double clicked on the name of the widget.

  1. Once renamed, double click outside the name field to save the changed name.

Renaming a particular widget

Deleting a Widget

To delete a widget from the Dashboard page, follow the steps as listed below:

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. On the Dashboard page, hover over the mouse on the required widget to enable the Delete icon.

  1. Click on the Delete icon.

  2. Click Yes on confirmation pop-up “Are you sure you want to delete XYZ widget?

XYZ denotes specific type of the widget.

Adding Attribute

To Add attributes to an existing widget, follow the steps as listed below:

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. Click on the desired widget Attribute drop-down list.

  2. Next, Select the checkbox of the attributes to add them.

This adds the selected attribute(s) to the widget.

Widgets - Rearrangement & Resizing

Rearrangement

To rearrange widgets on the Dashboard page, follow the steps listed below:

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. To rearrange the position of a widget, click and hold on the Six Dots icon on a widget then drag it to the desired position.

Resizing

To resize widgets on the Dashboard page, follow the steps listed below:

  1. Login to the DL Freight™ participant account.

After login, the Dashboard is the default page.

  1. On the Dashboard page, hover over the mouse on the required widget to enable the Expand/Collapse icon.

  2. Click on the expand icon.

The Collapse icon appears only if the widget is already expanded.
