Adding a Widget
What is a widget?
A Widget is a part of the dashboard that helps users to see the most important information at a glance. If there are no pre-existing widgets, the dashboard is empty.
Let's learn how to add widgets to the Dashboard page on the platform.
Log in to your DL MineTrace platform.
Click on the Dashboard page in the Navigation Panel to view the Dashboard.
Add a widget by clicking on the + Add Widget button from the center of the Dashboard if there are no widgets on the page.

- If there are some existing widgets on the Dashboard page, add more widgets by clicking on the + Widget button from the top right corner.
Widget Types
There are six types of pre-built widgets to make your Business Workflow more efficient and smooth.
Choose the type of widget
- Click on the Plus button from the Widgets sidebar to add the respective widgets on the Dashboard.
Number of widgets
On the Dashboard, the platform allows you to add and customise up to 20 widgets.
- Select the required fields from the dropdown fields in the widgets to get a display of key indicators on the dashboard.

Deleting a Widget
Let's learn how to delete a widget from the Dashboard page.
- Log in to the DL MineTrace platform with relevant credentials.
- Click on the Dashboard page in the Navigation Panel to view the Dashboard.

On hovering over the top right corner of a widget box, Expand/Collapse & Delete icons appear. Use these icons to perform the respective actions on that particular widget as required. The Refresh Frequency dropdown menu is a constant control menu at the top right corner of every widget box. Clicking on the arrow in this field opens a drop-down list that contains various duration options. Select any option as required to set a refresh frequency for that widget.
Hover over the top right corner of the widget box which to delete it. The Delete icon appears.
Now, click on the Delete icon.

Clicking on the Delete icon displays a confirmation box with Yes & No buttons.
Click on the Yes button to delete the selected widget.

Renaming a Widget
It's simple to rename a widget. Follow the instructions below to learn how to do it.
Log in to the DL MineTrace platform.
Click on the Dashboard page in the Navigation Panel to view the Dashboard.
To rename a widget, double-click on its name. A typable Name field appears with a blinking cursor.
Now, type the customized name for that particular widget and click twice outside the Name field. The widget gets successfully renamed.
