In case a workflow is no longer required, the platform allows you to delete it.
However, if the workflow is associated with an instance that is active and has not reached the last node, you will not be able to delete it. A Workflow can only be deleted when it is empty.
To delete a business workflow, follow the steps as mentioned below:
- Login to the DL Asset Track platform with your operator credentials.
After login, the Business workflow is the default page.
Business Workflows - List page
- Click on the Delete icon from the Actions column of the desired workflow.
Business Workflows - Delete icon
A confirmation pop-up message "Are you sure you want to delete this workflow?" appears.
- Next, click Yes to confirm deletion.
Delete Business Workflow prompt
Now, a notification "Successfully done." appears at the bottom left of your screen once the workflow is deleted.
Business Workflows - Delete notification
If a notification "workflow can not be deleted because this workflow is associated with the instance." appears at the bottom left, understand that the Workflow was not deleted because it has instance(s) inside it.
Remember, only an empty workflow can be deleted.
Error notification
- In such cases, delete the instance linked with this workflow and repeat the process to delete the Workflow.
