Create New Instance

The first participant in a business workflow initiates the workflow by creating or adding a new instance.
Select the required business workflow and enter the instance listing page to create a new instance.
Adding a new Workflow Instance
Click on the Create button at the top right corner of the instance listing page.
After clicking on the Create button, a dropdown list appears with two options: 1. Create new 2. Aggregate and create

- Click on the Create new option to add a new workflow instance. Upon clicking the Create new option, a Create sidebar appears on the screen.

- There are several data fields on the sidebar. Enter the data in all mandatory fields set by the organization to create a new workflow instance.
Updated data fields
Click on the Save button after adding the required information to successfully create a new workflow instance. Click on the Cancel button to withdraw the operation. To re-enter data, click on the Clear button to reset all data fields.
Multiple instances can be created at once by clicking on the Create Another checkbox. This selection will automatically save the existing one, and the participant can add details for a new instance.
Create Another and Retain Data checkbox
- The ** Retain Data ** checkbox is active only when selecting the Create Another checkbox. The data fields for the new instance are populated with the same information upon selecting this option.
Adding multiple instances becomes easier using these features.
Create new Instance with Aggregation
- Click on the Create button at the top right corner of the instance listing page.

Click on the Aggregate and create option to add a new aggregated instance. Upon clicking the Aggregate and create option, a Create new Instance with Aggregation window appears on the screen.
The aggregation window has three elaborate steps to add necessary details: 1. Select Workflow 2. Select instance 3. Create Instance
Create new Instance with Aggregation
- Select Workflow: In this step, select the business workflows from which data is required to be aggregated.
More than one business workflow can be selected for the aggregation functionality.
Select Instances for aggregation
- Select Instance: Select the instances from the previously selected business workflows in this step. Select the workflow tab on the top ribbon and include the instances for aggregation by clicking on the checkboxes on the right-most column.
Preview added instances
- Click on the Preview button to visualize the selected instance located in the top right corner of the screen.

Upon clicking the preview button, a Preview sidebar appears on the screen with the details of selected instances.
Create Instance: The final step is to add the required values as set for the business workflow and create the instance. Review all selected workflows under WORKFLOW AND INSTANCE section.

- Click on the Add button to create a new aggregated instance. Click on the Cancel button to withdraw the operation.
