- Sign in to the DL Unify Portal.

- Select the Element DB tile from the DL Unify Dashboard and enter the Element Secret.

- Manage Database is the default page upon login.
Manage Databases Page
- In the Manage Databases page for Element DB, the following functions can be performed.
Create Various Databases.
Edit Database.
View the 3 Statuses of the Database that are Created, Joined and Active (Located at the top right).

- Click on the +Database button to create a new database.

- If there are no previous databases, add the database using the + Add database button located at the center.

- A Create database pop-up appears. The pop-up has the following data fields:
- Database name: Enter the Database name in the respective data field.
- Peer: Select a Peer.
- Description: Enter the description in the respective data field.

- Fill in the relevant details and click on the Create button.

- A Confirm New Database pop-up appears; click on the Confirm button to confirm the creation of the new database and click on the Cancel button to discard the database.

Note:
Only 1 peer is available for selection while creating a new database by default. However, there is a possibility of adding more peers when required.
- The Manage Databases page has three statuses for newly created databases. View these statuses in the top right corner of the page.
The statuses are listed as follows:
- Created - A newly created database is always in the created status.
- Joined - It further moves to the joined status.
- Active - The last status is active. A user can use a database only in this status.

Note:
These statuses are automated, system-generated, and cannot be modified manually.
- Once the Database is created and is in the Active state, view associated peers and users within the database by clicking on the Database tile.
