What's New

To establish a solution for the file upload requirement, the following process will be configured:
This release introduces new features, providing Asset-Track users with enhanced capabilities through the implementation of a solution for File Upload Functionality.

  • Updating Accessorial Claims in Main Shipment Workflow:

In the main shipment workflow, the carrier updates accessorial claim/charges on a load and attaches relevant file attachments within the corresponding accessorial SOA section.

  • Seamless Attachment Transfer upon Carrier Claim Submission:
Upon carrier claim submission with the associated (mandatory/optional) file attachments, these attachments will seamlessly pass through with the claim details to the relevant accessorial sub-workflow, requiring no manual intervention.

  • Manual Review in Case of Processing Error:
In case of a processing error necessitating manual review, a member of the IB review team logs into the application.
They review the claim escalation and file attachment details within the corresponding accessorial sub-workflow, updating mandatory attributes under the "IB resolution tag”.

  • Viewing Claims Status without Errors:
If there is no processing error, the IB review team can view carrier claims with "Closed - Approved" or "Closed - Declined" status, along with their associated file attachments.

  • Mandatory and Optional File Upload Requirements:
Specific accessorials require the submission of file uploads as a Mandatory component along with claim details, while other file upload fields are Optional.

FAQs

  • How does the system distinguish between mandatory and optional file attachments during carrier claim submission?
The system recognizes and distinguishes between mandatory and optional file attachments based on the associated requirements of specific accessorials. Mandatory attachments are essential for certain accessorials, while others offer optional file upload fields.

  • Are there any restrictions on the file types or sizes that can be uploaded with carrier claims?
The system generally accommodates various file types (.doc, .jpeg, .docx, .jpg, .pdf, .png) and 10 MB file sizes for attachments. However, specific guidelines regarding acceptable file types and sizes should be followed, and these details are typically outlined in the submission process.

  • Can users track the status of their carrier claims in real-time?

    Yes.
    • The IB review team can monitor the real-time status of carrier claims.
    • The Carriers can monitor the real-time status of their own claims.
These include tracking "Closed - Approved", "Closed - Declined" or “Processing Error” statuses along with the associated file attachments.

  • What actions are taken in case of a processing error during the claim submission process?
In the event of a processing error, a member of the IB review team logs into the application, reviews the claim escalation and file attachment details within the corresponding accessorial sub-workflow, and updates mandatory attributes under the "IB resolution tag".
