Generating Webhook Credentials
You will need to generate credentials to integrate with the platform and perform specific actions. This will enable your system to authenticate and communicate securely.
Generating Webhook Credentials
Suppose your organization is integrating with DL Asset Track through APIs to perform activities on behalf of a specific user. In that case, webhook credentials will need to be generated to access the APIs.
Before being able to sign any API requests, you must create an API key
Click on the Business Workflows tab.
From the main Business Workflows page, click on the Credentials button in the top right corner.

- After clicking on the Credentials button, an Authentication sidebar window appears, allowing you to generate a unique Client ID randomly and Client secret code. You can generate the unique randomized codes by clicking on the “Generate key” button.
Click on the question mark icon (?) to get onscreen help for authentication.

- After the randomly generated keys are produced, record them, and use them for integrations.

Additional Help Icons
You can easily copy the Client ID and Secret ID using the quick copy icons on the right of those fields. You can also view the hidden client secret by clicking on the eye icon.
- For comprehensive instructions on API integration and the list of available APIs, click on the API documentation link in the Authentication window.
(Regenerate Key)
The Regenerate Key appears once you have generated a client secret. You can generate a new client secret using this button.
Security Settings
You can enhance the security of the integrations by configuring a few simple settings.
- Click on the Settings tab from the Authentication sidebar.

- You can add certain security features on this page by assigning a Token Timeout duration.
You can set the timeout duration in minutes or hours by clicking on the Time Unit dropdown list.
- Additionally, you can configure Account Lockout in case several attempts are made to access the platform using your email or token credentials.
In case of Lockout
In the case of a lockout, contact your organization or the Admin to enable your access.
