Configuring Widgets

The widgets on a dashboard display key information and stats based on the inputs provided by the user. A user can customise the following settings for each widget added:

Workflow – This widget allows to select the business workflow that the widget reports on.

Attribute(s) – This widgets allow the user to generate periodical reports on one or more shipping attributes.

Period – allows the user to select the time to display. The system default is 7 days; however, this can be configured to display data from the past 3 days, 7 days, 1 month, 6 months, or 1 year.

Refresh Frequency – It allows the user to choose how often the widget should refresh. The default refresh rate is 15 minutes; however, it can be changed to 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.

Information Fields

Out of the 6 types of widgets, Workflow Status, Instance Created & Dispute Status don't have the option to select shipping Attribute(s), whereas Assigned to Me, Chart Filter, Workflow Status and Recent Activities don't have the option to select Period.

Let's check out how to configure various widgets on the platform.

Chart Filter Widget

  1. Click on the Add Widget button located at the center of the Dashboard page or the +Widget button located at the top right section.

  2. An Add widget sidebar pops up containing all the six widget types.

  1. Next, click on the + icon before the name CHART FILTER to add a Chart Filter widget.

  2. This adds a new Chart Filter widget to the Dashboard.

  3. Select the Business Workflow from the dropdown list to assign a business workflow to the widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.

  4. Also, select attributes from the Attribute list.

  5. Set the Refresh frequency from the field located at the top right corner of the widget box.

  6. Click on the Save button to save this widget.

Workflow Status widget

  1. Click on the Add Widget button located at the center of the Dashboard page or the +Widget button located at the top right section.

  2. An Add widget window pops up containing all the 6 widget types.

  3. Next, click on the + icon before the name WORKFLOW STATUS to add a Workflow Status widget.

  4. This adds a new Workflow Status widget to the Dashboard.

  5. Select the Business Workflow from the dropdown list to assign a business workflow to the widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.

  6. Set the Refresh frequency as needed.

  7. Click on the Save button to save your widget.

Dispute Status widget

  1. Click on the Add Widget button located at the center of the Dashboard page or the +Widget button located at the top right section.

  2. An Add widget window pops up containing all the six widget types.

  3. Next, click on the + icon before the name DISPUTE STATUS to add a Dispute Status widget.

  4. This adds a new Dispute Status widget to your Dashboard.

  5. Select the Business Workflow from the dropdown list to assign a business workflow to the widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.

  6. To set the Period, click on the period (3 days, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or 1 year) displayed at the top of the chart to set the number of days.

  7. Set the Refresh frequency as needed.

  8. Click on the Save button to save the widget.

Instance Created widget

  1. Click on the Add Widget button located at the center of the Dashboard page or the +Widget button located at the top right section.

  2. An Add widget window pops up containing all the six widget types.

  3. Next, click on the + icon before the name INSTANCE CREATED to add an Instance Created widget.

  4. This adds a new Instance Created widget to the Dashboard.

  5. Select the Business Workflow from the dropdown list to assign a business workflow to the widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.

  6. Also, set the Period as well as Refresh frequency.

  7. Click on the Save button to finally save the widget.

Configuring other widgets

Other widgets can be added and configured in the same way. While adding each widget, pay close attention to the data fields and carefully adjust the fields to fit the case at hand.

Edit Existing Widgets

Let's learn how to edit different types of existing widgets.

Renaming a widget

1.Click on the Dashboard page in the Navigation Panel to view the Dashboard.

  1. To rename a widget, double-click on the name of a widget. A typable Name field appears.

  2. Now, type the name you want for that particular widget and click twice outside the Name field. The widget is renamed.

Modifying the period of a widget:

To set the Period of a widget, click on the period (3 days, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or 1 year) displayed at the top of the chart to set the number of days as per your requirements.

Editing the Period of a widget

Adding another attribute:

  1. Click on the Attribute field.

  2. This opens a drop-down list below the field.

  3. Select the checkboxes of the attributes you want to add.

  4. This adds the selected attribute(s) to the widget.
