Configuring Widgets

The widgets on the dashboard display key information and stats based on the inputs provided. Users can configure the following for each widget:

Workflow – This allows to select the business workflow that the widget reports.

Attribute(s) – Widgets allow to generate periodic reports on one or more shipping attributes.

Period – Period allows selecting the time to display. The system default is seven days; however, some configurations allow to show data from the past three days, seven days, one month, six months, or one year.

Refresh Frequency – It enables to select the frequency with which the widget refreshes. The system default is 15 minutes; however, you can set the refresh rate every 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.

Information Fields

Out of the six types of widgets, Workflow Status, Instance Created & Dispute Status don't have the option to select shipping Attribute(s), whereas Assigned to Me, Chart Filter, Workflow Status, and Recent Activities don't have the opportunity to choose Period.

Let's check out how to configure various widgets on the platform.

Chart Filter Widget

  1. Click on the Add Widget button at the center of the Dashboard page or the +Widget button located at the top right section.
  2. An Add widget sidebar pops up containing all the six widget types.

  1. Next, click on the + icon before the name CHART FILTER to add a Chart Filter widget to your Dashboard.
  2. Select the Business Workflow and Attributes from the dropdown list to assign a business workflow to the widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.
  3. Set the Refresh frequency as per requirements from the field located at the top right corner of the widget box.
  4. Click on the Save button to save the widget.

Workflow Status widget

  1. Click on the Add Widget button at the center of the Dashboard page or the +Widget button located at the top right section.
  2. An Add widget window pops up containing all the six widget types.
  3. Next, click on the + icon before the name WORKFLOW STATUS to add a Workflow Status widget.
  4. Select the Business Workflow from the dropdown list to assign a business workflow to the widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.
  5. Set the Refresh frequency as per your requirements.
  6. Click on the Save button to save your widget.

Dispute Status widget

  1. Click on the Add Widget button at the center of the Dashboard page or the +Widget button located at the top right section.
  2. An Add widget window pops up containing all the six widget types.
  3. Next, click on the + icon before the name DISPUTE STATUS to add a Dispute Status widget.
  4. Select the Business Workflow from the dropdown list to assign a business workflow to the widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.
  5. To set the Period, click on the period (3 days, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or 1 year) displayed at the top of the chart to set the number of days.
  6. Set the Refresh frequency as per the requirements.
  7. Click on the Save button to save the widget.

Instance Created widget

  1. Click on the Add Widget button at the center of the Dashboard page or the +Widget button located at the top right section.
  2. An Add widget window pops up containing all the six widget types.
  3. Next, click on the + icon before the name INSTANCE CREATED to add an Instance Created widget.
  4. Select the Business Workflow from the dropdown list to assign a business workflow to the widget. The widget displays data from the selected business workflow.
  5. Also, set the Period as well as Refresh frequency.
  6. Click on the Save button to save the widget.

Configuring other widgets

Similarly, you can add & configure other widgets. Pay attention to the data fields in each widget while adding it & configure the fields carefully to suit the case in hand.

Edit Existing Widgets

Let's learn how to edit different types of existing widgets.

Renaming a widget

  1. Click on the Dashboard page in the Navigation Panel to view the Dashboard.
  2. Double-click on the name of the widget to rename. A typable Name field appears.
  3. Now, type in the name for that particular widget and click twice outside the Name field.

Update an existing widget

The Participant can now update a widget with fresh data on dashboard.

To update an existing widget, scroll the mouse over the Dashboard page to locate the required widget category.

  1. Click on the drop-down arrow next to the workflow and select the required workflow from the drop-down list.
  2. Click on the Attribute drop-down arrow to select the desired attribute, if applicable.
  3. Now, for the selected workflow, edit the information as needed.

Modifying the period of a widget

To set the Period of a widget, click on the period (3 days, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or 1 year) displayed at the top of the chart to set the number of days as per your requirements.

Adding another attribute

  1. Click on the Attribute field to opens a dropdown list.
  2. Select the checkboxes of the attributes to add.
  3. This adds the selected attribute(s) to the widget.
