View Accessorial Charges on Load List Page
Accessorial charges are fees added to a shipper’s invoice for extra services that a shipper performs over and above the standard pickup and delivery function designated when the shipment is tendered.
Such charges take many forms and impact all modes of freight transportation services. They can either be a fixed fee or a time-based fee. Usually, time-based fees escalate until the situation creating them is closed or resolved.

Load List page of a Business Workflow
- The Load details page appears on the screen. This page contains all the information about the load, including accessorial and other charges.
NOTE:
Load Service type plays an important role in determining the eligibility of the load for a specific accessorial claim. For example, if the load has an LTL service type, then the user can’t claim Layover Accessorial for that load. The eligibility based on another attribute called the Load Type is also implemented on DL Freight™ based on the business rules set by Walmart Canada and respective Carriers.
Contact your organization to find out more about load types; in case of platform-specific queries, write to us at: dlfreight.support@dltlabs.io

Several data fields on the claim sidebar are auto-filled. However, enter the information in mandatory fields to successfully submit an accessorial claim. The mandatory fields are marked with a star (*) mark.
