New Rate Management Functionality v1.0.0

The DL Freight™ platform has been enhanced to allow for the inclusion of Walmart Canada’s Carrier Rate Management process. Carriers are now able to respond directly to lane linehaul rate bid requests sent by Walmart Canada to one or more carriers via the DL Freight™ platform.

Walmart Canada bid managers can approve, negotiate, or reject carrier rate bid submissions directly in the DL Freight™ platform. Approved rates are automatically added to the carrier’s rate toolkit (Linehaul master table) in DL Freight™.

Additionally, Carriers can request spot bids, for approval by WMC Bid managers, for individual Load IDs using new CRM functionality.

Features Delivered in this Update

Carrier Rate Management functionality

The platform allows Walmart Canada to send Lane rate bids to carriers, based on various modalities and other bid parameters.
The platform allows Carriers to respond and negotiate Lane rate bids sent by Walmart Canada.
The platform automatically adds approved linehaul rates to the carrier’s rate toolkit in DL Freight™.
Carriers can create Spot rate bids directly within the DL Freight™ platform. Approved rates are added directly to the individual Load ID as soon as the rate is approved by the WMC bid manager.
