Update

Asset Profile is required to be updated due to one or more of the reasons listed below:

• Different Asset Category is to be linked to the Asset Profile.
• Description needs to be changed.
• Different name for the Asset Profile is required.
• Reselection of the Attributes.

To update an Asset Profile on the DL Asset Track™ platform, follow the steps listed below:

1. Login to the DL Asset Track™ Platform Operator account.

2. Click Asset Profile at the left Navigation Panel.

3. From the Asset Profile listing page, click on the Edit icon under the Actions column of the desired Asset Profile.

4. Update Name, Asset Category linked to the Profile or Description as required at the BASIC INFORMATION page.

5. Click on ATTRIBUTES tab at the top right or click Next at the bottom right corner to access the Attributes tab.

6. Click on Expand icon to maximize ATTRIBUTES page.

7. Select or deselect Attributes by clicking on the checkboxes to link to the Asset Profile.

8. Click and drag Attributes to change its sequence in a Group tag.

9. Click on the six dots beside the Group tag, drag and move it to the desired position.

10. If a group tag is not required anymore, click on the Delete icon on the right of the Group Tag to delete it.

11. Click on Preview at the top right corner to visualize the appearance of the instance detail page for the end-user.

12. Next, click Edit Tag at the top right corner to return to the editing page.

13. Click Update at the bottom right corner to save the updated changes.
