The aggregation features enable the application to derive data for a specific workflow instance from various other instances in the process. The aggregation feature functions with numerous assets to obtain necessary data.

Participants can now trace the details of the aggregated assets or parent instances effectively on the instance details page of the DL Asset Track platform.

Aggregation & Tracing

The aggregation feature functions with numerous assets to obtain necessary data. Hence it becomes vital to trace the parent assets that contribute to the current data in the selected instance.

  1. The aggregation details can be accessed by clicking the View Tracing button on the instance details page.

  1. Upon clicking the View Tracing button, the screen redirects to the tracing page of the selected instance.

Tracing various nodes of the instance

  1. The tracing page displays the group node and respective sequence in the business workflow. Click on the arrow head to expand the tracing timeline.

  2. The aggregated asset or parent instance count is less than ten -
    The tracing page displays all the parent instances in branches in this scenario. A vertical line contains the list of all the aggregated nodes from which the data is derived. Participants and Monitors can click on the respective nodes to view details.

  1. Click on a node to view the list of the aggregated assets with all key attributes.

    The tracing page displays all the parent instances in a page view in this scenario.

  1. Click on any aggregated asset or parent instance from the list to trace its movement.

  1. A vertical line shows the list of all the associated entities of the selected instance.
  2. Click on the circular node icon to view all key attributes for the instance.

Changing data column size

  1. Likewise, data columns under SOA in tracing feature can also be resized.
  2. After entering the details of an instance, click on the tracing in the top right corner.

  1. Now, click on any of the radio button of a Business Entity to open the tracing sidebar.

  1. The size changes are saved at the browser level for better convenience.
