Delete Database

1. Sign in to the DL Unify Portal.

2. Select the Element DB tile from the DL Unify Dashboard and enter the Element Secret.

3. Manage Database is the default page upon login.

4. To delete the database, click on the three vertical dots on the top right of the database and then click on the Delete DB button.

5. A pop-up appears with Cancel and Delete buttons. Click the Delete button to delete the database.

6. A user cannot use a deleted database. However, a user can still view it under the All and Deleted tabs since the Element DB leverages features from Hyperledger Fabric. One of the features of blockchain is that deleting all data is not possible. The information regarding the deleted database remains intact on the blockchain's immutable log.
