A Data Operator is a person who is added to the platform to make changes in a Master Table. They cannot make any changes to other platform modules.
Create
To create a Data Operator on the DL Asset Track™ platform, follow the steps listed below:
Log in to the DL Asset Track™ platform Operator account.
Click on Data Operator on the left Navigation Panel.

- Click on + Data Operator at the top right corner of the screen.

The + Data Operator tab appears at the center of the screen, if no Data Operator has been added.
- If required, click on the Expand icon to maximize the Create page and then, Collapse icon to restore the Create Page.

On Create Page, enter the Data Operator details:
- First Name – Data Operator Name
The name can be a mix of characters, numbers, and special characters as per your requirements. The character limit for the Data operator name field is 50.
- Email – Email Address
The email ID can be upto 80 chara cters.
Select the Languages from the Preferred Language drop-down.

- Select the External Network User checkbox, if the Data Operator is an external user.
Any Data Operator who is from the outer network is an external network user. To summarize, this function acts as a validation for the external user.

- Click Next .
The Next option is enabled once all the mandatory fields are entered. Mandatory fields are denoted using the asterisk (*)
Mandatory Fields
- Select the required Master Table(s) by clicking on the respective checkboxes or Select All to select all the Master Tables.
The search box at the top right allows you to search for a specific master table.
- Click Download or Upload.
Enabling Download allows the Data operator to download the Master Table while enabling Upload allows the operator to enter data in the Master Table.

- Next, click the Arrow icon on the right side to add conditions to the required Master Table.
The condition option allows the conditional data fetched for the selected Master Table.
- Select a Column name from the drop-down and enter a Column value for the selected column name.
When the user selects a Master Table, they can only make changes to the column section.
Adding a column name and column value protects your privacy. The row that contains the selected column name and column value entered by the user from the Master table appears to the Data operator.

- Click + Add More to add more conditions.
Create page - Add more option
Click the Cross (X) icon on the right to delete the condition applied for a particular column.
Check the Create Another checkbox to stay on the Create page, if required to create more auditors.
The Create Another function clears all data fields and keeps you on the same form to add a new Data Operator.
- Check the Retain Data checkbox to retain the current data for the next auditor user to be created.
To enable Retain Data checkbox, Create Another checkbox should be checked.

- Click Save to create a new Data Operator.
The Save option is enabled once all the mandatory fields are entered. Mandatory fields are denoted using the asterisk (*).
Once saved, a notification appears, “Data operator created successfully” at the bottom left of the screen.
