Create

An Asset is any tangible or intangible object that a user wants to track or trace.
Asset Category is a logical collection of Attributes (characteristics) of an Asset.

To create an Asset Category on the DL Asset Track™ platform, follow the steps listed below:

Log in to the DL Asset Track™ Operator account.
Click on the Asset Category page on the left Navigation Panel.
Click on the + Category at the top right corner of the screen.

+ Category tab appears at the center of the screen, if no Asset Category have been added.

Click on the Expand icon to maximize the Create page.

Click on the Collapse icon to restore the Create Page.

On Create Page, enter the Asset Category details:
1. Name – Asset Category Name
2. Description – Asset Category Description

Asset Category name cannot exceed 50 characters and can be a combination of letters, numbers, or special characters.

Click Save.

The Save option is enabled once the Name and Description are entered.

Once saved, a notification appears “Asset Category has been created successfully” at the bottom left of the screen.

If a notification appears, “Your web browser may have encountered an issue. Please try again” at the bottom left of your screen; check your internet connection and try again.
