Adding a VOR Claim
How to add a VOR-TONU claim in DL Freight.mov
The VOR claim is also known as TONU – Truck Ordered and Not Used.
To submit a VOR claim on DL Freight™, begin by clicking on the Down arrow on the right of the VOR claim tile on the Update sidebar. There are a few data fields that are needed to fill.
Follow the numbered circles on the screenshot as a guide:
- Once the VOR claim dropdown expands, select, and add the route number. (1)
- Add in a comment to help explain the reason for the claim in the Additional VOR Comment text field. (2)
- Then, add the distance the truck covered in miles to a store or DC for the TONU case in the # of VOR miles claimed (mi) field. (3)

NOTE:
The distance in miles accepts values to two decimal places. The decimal input beyond two places is rounded off as a part of the business rule.
VOR Claim Reason dropdown options
Finally, add the VOR Reason by clicking the down arrow. (4)
Upon clicking the down arrow, a dropdown list appears with two predefined options, i.e.
a. Load Cancelled
b. Load Not ReadySelect the appropriate reason for raising the claim by clicking on the relevant option. Note that there can only be one reason for VOR. Describe more about this reason in the Additional VOR Comment text field. (2)
Once the details are added, click on the Update button to submit the VOR or TONU claim for the load.
